The mission of Collegiate Pathways, Inc. (CPI), also known as Tech Sassy Girlz, is to empower
underrepresented middle and high school girls to pursue science, technology, engineering and
mathematics (STEM) fields through college preparation, career readiness, and mentoring. We
accomplish this through college tours, hackathons, workshops, maker faires and tech
conferences!

We are looking for a Summer Associate who can assist with helping us build capacity in
increasing STEM access to more girls from June 11 – August 5, 2018. As a Summer Associate,
you would:
• Identify programming resources to support our summer camps and events
• Plan summer camps and events
• Develop curriculum to support year-round programming
• Identify resources to support the Collegiate Pathways program by researching funding
sources and creating materials to build partnerships and capacity in fundraising.
• Create marketing materials that will be provided to potential donors
• Research potential community partners and resources needed to sustain the Tech Sassy
Girlz program
• Create a template to track STEM activities in the Orlando area
• Develop an outreach action plan to approach potential parents, students and school
districts
• Develop Community Partnerships
• Create social media campaigns
• Support summer camp activities
• Teach summer workshops and activities to middle and high school girls

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Computer science, information technology, software development experience a plus!
• Strong public speaking, writing and communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Highly organized, self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic
• Knowledge and interest in STEM education and working with underserved youth is
desirable but not required
