The Magic of Mentoring

During Women’s Herstory Month, Tech Sassy Girlz had the incredible privilege of participating in the Magic of Mentoring event, hosted by the Orlando Magic. This special event provided our girls with the unique opportunity to hear from a panel of accomplished professional women who shared their inspiring journeys in the sports industry.
The women panelists, whose careers span marketing, player development, social media, and sales, offered invaluable insights into their roles and the paths they took to achieve success. Our girls were not only able to listen and learn but also engage directly through collaborative “mock” departments. This hands-on experience allowed them to apply their newfound knowledge in real-world scenarios, giving them a deeper understanding of the diverse career opportunities available within the sports industry.
We are grateful for the Orlando Magic’s support in empowering the next generation of women leaders and for providing our girls with such a transformative experience.
Her Time To Play

The Her Time to Play basketball clinic, an empowering initiative by the WNBA, is dedicated to championing change on behalf of girls and women. This year, Tech Sassy Girlz proudly participated in this inspiring program, which provided our girls with valuable opportunities to connect, collaborate, and actively engage with basketball and one another.
We watched our girls shine on the court, nurture their athletic talents, and, most importantly, believe in themselves and the magnificence they are capable of achieving. This clinic not only enhanced their skills but also strengthened their confidence and sense of community.
NFL Sports Performance Society

Tech Sassy Girlz recently had the unique opportunity to attend an exclusive event with the NFL Sports Performance Society. Our students were treated to an unforgettable behind-the-scenes tour of the Orlando Magic facility, gaining insight into the inner workings of a professional sports environment.
Following the tour, the girls were inspired by a series of guest speakers from the NFL, including Brendan Burger, Bryan Engel, Ted Rath, Sarah Snyder, and Anne Wise. Each speaker shared their personal journeys within the sports industry, detailing their daily routines and the motivations that drive their work.
This experience provided our girls with a firsthand look at the diverse career paths available in the sports industry, while also reinforcing the importance of hard work, dedication, and passion. We are deeply grateful to the NFL Sports Performance Society and the incredible speakers for inspiring our girls and showing them the endless possibilities in the world of sports.
